Asger Jorn (1914-1973) is generally held to be Denmark’s most important twentieth-century artist.His spontaneous, abstract works have achieved great international recognition. Asger Jorn was a versatile artist who, besides painting, also worked with ceramics, drawings, graphic works and sculpture. His imagery continued to develop throughout his artistic career.
